As Narelle Pamuk pulls off her monthly miracle managing somehow to fund the housing and needs of 100-plus dogs, she becomes ever more imaginative. Now she’s planning BOLLYWOOF, a fund-raising curry lunch. Narelle’s monthly cost of looking after so many dogs at her shelter high in the hills of Ho Chung totals about $150,000, she tells us.
If you would like to support Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation turn up at a Tandoori Nights luncheon in Tsimshatsui on Sunday 25 March. The cost is $350 per person, which means you can raid the Indian curry buffet as often as you like. Much of the money goes to support the dogs.
To book in email firstname.lastname@example.org Other attractions include Henna tattoos, Indian dance performance, lucky draw, table prizes and jewellery sales. The “Keep Calm and Curry On” event starts at 12:30 pm at Tandoori Nights, 2/F Eastern Tower Centre, 22 Cameron Rd, TST.
