Sai Kung Stray Friends gets a visitor, and a big donation

Local charity, Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation, has a new admirer. This very happy and sociable dog just seems to like their Rescue Kennels. He walked in on his own a week ago and was so friendly, just as if he had lived with them previously. He stayed overnight, and his owner was called, who came to collect him the following day. Then a day later he came back for another visit. Again his owner came for him. On Tuesday –  the day of the heavy rains – he visited again. His owner was not contactable so he stayed overnight  again. He is just the most loveliest dog who obviously loves company and maybe the comfort of the kennels and menu! Sai Kung Stray Friends are always welcoming to visitors. The Rescue Kennels is a happy place so do come to meet the great dogs or take them for a walk in the beautiful countryside of Tai Lam Wu. This dog is clearly giving them the “high 5” popular recommendation!

And it gets even better. A dog loving couple, owners of two rescue dogs, recently relocated out of Hong Kong bound for England to get married and start their new life. Before leaving they handed over the keys and Vehicle Registration Document of their BMW 2-door convertible to SKSFF. They said value of the car is HK$30K and hoped the sale proceeds can be a helpful donation. The Model 3181A Year 1999 1796cc licenced to 20 August 2017. Narelle Pamuk from SKSFF told BUZZ “It’s just amazing and so thoughtful. We hope to achieve close to its value to help with our immediate expenses of kennel electrical and wiring repairs costing $16,000, repairs to a collapsed drain in a kennel room $4,000 and replacement of destroyed shelters during T8″.

Narelle also added, “To any people interested we will accept offers!!!! So the car can go before licence expires in August”. The vehicle is at SKSFF kennels in Sai Kung and can be viewed or taken for a test drive any day.
